Subject: CTA extends Popps Ferry Route 32
Coast Transit Authority is implementing improvements to Route 32. The current route servicing the Popps Ferry Road corridor will now extend service into the D’Iberville City limits and on to the Promenade Shopping Center. The expanded route will begin service on Monday, November 12.
This improved route will include additional stops along the Popps Ferry corridor, including Atkinson Road, the Margaret Sherry Library, Cedar Lake Medical Center, neighborhood Walmart and throughout the retail shops at the Promenade.
This 90-minute route will run 6-days a week with the route starting at the bus shelter at Pass Road and Popps Ferry. Riders will have the opportunity to transfer and make connections with Pass Road – Route 34 East- and Westbound as well as Route 4 D’Iberville when it reaches the Target store at the Promenade.
