Changes to Coast Transit Authority Routes

Coast Transit Authority announces several route improvements to benefit ridership and enhance services.  Riders on Gulfport Route 37 will now travel aboard a 29-foot Clean-Air Hybrid Electric bus. The Hybrid Electric bus utilizes the latest technology to operate more efficiently to protect the environment.

On Sunday, April 2, CTA will add Sunday service to their Casino Hopper route. The addition will provide Casino Hopper service every 25 minutes, 7-days a week, from 5:30am – 9:26pm Monday thru Saturday and from 8:30am –  7:11pm on Sunday. The Hopper trolley will roll throughout the Biloxi Loop to local casinos, attractions and businesses along Highway 90, Caillavet Street and Bayview Avenue.

Keesler Route 24 will be eliminated on Saturday, April 1. However, Keesler students and base personnel will continue to be serviced by CTA Pass Road Route 34, 7-days a week. Riders will be able to catch the bus outside Keesler AFB at the White Avenue and Irish Hill Drive bus stop. This route travels East along Pass Road to the Biloxi Transit Center and West to Edgewater Mall and the Gulfport Transit Center utilizing Pass Road. Riders will be able to transfer to other service routes to reach their destinations 7-days a week.

CTA’s Spring edition of the 2017 Rider’s Guide is now available on all buses, at each transit centers and at the CTA office located at 333 DeBuys Road in Gulfport. This free publication is a comprehensive guide to all the services offered by Coast Transit Authority, including fares, route maps and time schedules. It is published in both English and Spanish and available online at coasttransit.com.
