Due to excessive traffic along Hwy 90 and Pass Road during the “Cruisin’ The Coast” events, October 2-9, 2022, major delays are expected on some of the CTA routes. CTA will do everything possible to run as close to the regular scheduled times listed in the CTA Riders’ Guide. The following routes and schedules have been altered to provide continued services during this weeklong event.
Route Cancelations
- Thursday, October 6, Beachcomber Route will end at 5:45 p.m. at Edgewater Mall.
- Friday & Saturday, October 7 & 8, Beachcomber Route will end at 12:35 p.m. at Edgewater Mall.
- Friday & Saturday, October 7 & 8, Route 34-Pass Road will end service at approximately 6:49 p.m.
Route Detours
Sunday, October 2
- All Day – Route 34-Pass Road and Route 37-Gulfport will have an alternate transfer point at 22nd Ave. and 22nd Street in Gulfport.
Wednesday, October 5
- Beachcomber will have NO service to Treasure Bay bus stop in the parking lot after 8:42 a.m. (the pick-up/drop-off location will be on Hwy 90).
Thursday, October 6
- Beachcomber will have NO service on west bound route at Edgewater Village or to Treasure Bay bus stop in parking lot after 8:51 a.m. (pick-up/drop-off location for Treasure Bay will be on Hwy 90). Beachcomber will end service at 5:45 p.m.
- D’Iberville-Route 4 will have NO service along Auto Mall Parkway after 8:00 a.m.
- Ocean Springs-Route 7 will have NO service on Washington Ave and Government Street west of Martin Luther King Jr Avenue after 8:30 a.m.
Friday, October 7
- Beachcomber will have NO service on west bound route at Edgewater Village or to Treasure Bay Bus Stop in Parking Lot after 8:30 a.m. (pick-up/drop-off location for Treasure Bay will be on Hwy 90). Beachcomber will end service at 12:35 p.m.
- D’Iberville-Route 4 will have NO service along Auto Mall Parkway after 8:30 a.m.
- Ocean Springs-Route 7 will have NO service on Washington Ave. and Government Street west of Martin Luther King Jr Avenue after 8:30 a.m.
- Route 34-Pass Road will have no service on Eisenhower Drive or C.T. Switzer Avenue to Edgewater Mall after 12:35 p.m. (Pick-up/drop-off location will be on Pass Rd.) Route 34-Pass Road will end service at approximately 6:49 p.m.
Saturday, October 8
- Beachcomber will have NO service on west bound route at Edgewater Village or to Treasure Bay Bus Stop in Parking Lot after 8:30 a.m. (pick-up/drop-off location for Treasure Bay will be on Hwy 90). Beachcomber will stop service at 12:35 p.m.
- D’Iberville-Route 4 will have NO service along Auto Mall Parkway after 8:30 a.m.
