Subject: Mardi Gras Parades – Alternate Routes and Transfer Points
Mardi Gras celebrations across the coast will cause some Fixed Route services to be interrupted on various dates and times. Alternate routes and transfer points will be used to keep our services rolling.

Biloxi – Biloxi Children’s Parade – An alternate route will be used from 10:00am to 11:15am to and from the Biloxi Transit Center. Click here to view map of alternate route.

Ocean Springs – Downtown Ocean Springs will be inaccessible from 5:30pm until the end of route. An alternate route will be used. Click here to view map of alternate route.
Saturday, February 25, 2017
Biloxi – Krewe of Neptune Night Parade –The Biloxi Transit Center will be inaccessible from 4:45pm until the end of the route. An alternate transfer point will be used. The transfer point will be located on Howard Avenue under the I-110 overpass.
Gulfport – Krewe of Gemini Parade – The Gulfport Transit Center will be inaccessible from 12:30pm – 4:00pm. An alternate transfer point will be used. For Routes 34, 37 and 38, the intersection of 22nd Street and 22nd Avenue will be used as the alternate transfer point. The Beachcomber will use Jones Park as alternate transfer point. A shuttle van will be available between transfer points.

Tuesday, February 28, 2017 – MARDI GRAS DAY
Biloxi – Gulf Coast Carnival Association Parade – All Fixed Routes will follow a Sunday time schedule.
The Biloxi Transit Center will be inaccessible from 11:45am until the end of route and an alternate transfer point at the I-110 underpass on Diaz Street, west of the IP Casino will be used.
Gulfport – Krewe of Gemini Night parade – All Fixed Routes will follow a Sunday time schedule.
The Gulfport Transit Center will be inaccessible after 4:15pm and an alternate transfer point at 22nd Street and 22nd Avenue will be used. No shuttle service will be available.
PLEASE NOTE: THE CTA OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 28 AND WILL RE-OPEN ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 29 AT 8:00AM.
