This year Coast Transit Authority (CTA) will observe Christmas Eve as well as Christmas Day. The New Year’s Day schedule will fall on a Sunday and follow a normal Sunday time schedule.
There will be no bus service on Christmas Eve (Saturday, December 24, 2022) as well as Christmas Day (Sunday, December 25, 2022). Regular bus service will resume on Monday, December 26. The CTA office will close at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, and reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 27.
All fixed route buses will run a regular schedule on New Year’s Eve on Saturday, December 31. On New Year’s Day (Sunday, January 1, 2023), CTA will run a normal Sunday schedule for fixed-route buses. Regular bus service will resume on Monday, January 2. The CTA office will close at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30th, and reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3.
