Effective Monday, November 16, Coast Transit Authority (CTA) will extend Route 7 (Ocean Springs) service to Division Street in Biloxi.
CTA will celebrate the extension on Monday, November 16, beginning at 9:15 AM at the Biloxi Transit Center. A maiden ride will depart at 10:00 AM, after a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The updated route will depart from the Biloxi Transit Center, travel north on Reynoir Street, east on Division Street, and south on Oak Street near Harrah’s before continuing along Highway 90 to Ocean Springs. The route will loop at the Ocean Springs Walmart Fare Zone and return to the Biloxi Transit Center via Division Street.
This extension will improve access to health care services, the Salvation Army Kroc Center, and local restaurants and businesses in Biloxi, Ward 2 and Ward 1.
CTA encourages residents and visitors to take advantage of this new service and share information throughout the community. Strong ridership support will help ensure the long-term success of this route extension. Our updated Riders Guides will also be available starting Monday, November 16th.
