Subject: Mardi Gras Day “Free Ride” and Route Information
Although there will be no Mardi Gras celebrations across the coast, CTA wants to do something special for Mardi Gras. We will be offering free rides all day Tuesday, February 16 to any person that wears one of or all of the following:
- Mardi Gras beads around their neck
- A Mardi Gras mask
- A Mardi Gras Hat (purple, gold, and/or green top hat or joker hat)
- A Mardi Gras themed shirt
Keep in mind all CTA “floats” (buses and trolleys) will run on a Sunday schedule on Mardi Gras day. We hope you will dress up with us and hop on one our CTA “floats” and ride around town just like you are part of a parade.
Note: The CTA office will be closed on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 and will re-open at 8:00 am Wednesday, February 17, 2021.
