Hurricane Season: Stay Alert:
Hurricane season runs through November 30. Even in a quiet year, the peak is typically September with most activity mid‑August to mid‑October. Watch CTA service alerts and local officials for updates.

Technology Update: Faster, Easier Ways to Pay:
CTA is using the last of its CARES Act federal funding to upgrade every bus with Fast Fare fare boxes. That means more ways to pay by using your phone, credit/debit card, or cash on all CTA vehicles. You
will also be able to download our new phone app to track your bus in real time, set alerts, purchase passes and plan your trip all in one place.

Route Service Update – Biloxi News!:
We’re bringing back service to Division Street as part of Ocean Springs Route 7. Look for updated maps, bus top signs and schedules ahead of launch.

Hail System Ending- October 31st, 2025:
In an effort to improve safety and connectivity for our operators and riders, CTA will be eliminating the Hail System. Starting October 31st, 2025- all riders will have to board and exit CTA fixed-route vehicles at designated bus stops.
