Subject: Alternate Route announced for Saturday, Dec. 2 in Gulfport

On Saturday, December 2, alternate routes will be taken for two Gulfport fixed routes during the Christmas parade in the downtown area.  An alternate route for Orange Grove, Route 37 and West Gulfport Red & Blue Line Route 38 will take place at 5:30pm until 7:15pm. The Gulfport Christmas Parade starts at 6:30pm.

Route 37 Southbound will begin an alternate route at 19th Street and will proceed with route. Route 38 Eastbound will take alternate route after leaving Island View Casino on to 30th Avenue. The bus will turn right on 19th and right onto 23rd Avenue, left on 15th Street and then will proceed with route. Route 38 Westbound will take alternate route at 23rd Avenue taking a left onto 19th Street, left on 30th Avenue and then proceed with route to Island View Casino.
