Coast Transit Authority is conducting a public review period and hosting a public meeting to obtain community feedback on a proposal to stop running Route 8, which services the Scarlet Pearl Casino in D’Iberville, MS.

Public Review Period: April 30 – May 30, 2017 

Public meeting: Thursday, May 11, 2017, 4:00-6:00pm – Open House Style, D’Iberville Town Green, 10004 Central Ave.

In compliance with federal regulations, Coast Transit Authority (CTA) is seeking the public’s input on the proposed termination of D’Iberville Route #8 (Scarlet Pearl route). More information on the proposed change and the associated public meeting can be viewed at www.coasttransit.com. This comment period satisfies the public participation requirements of CTA’s Title VI & LEP Plan, the MS Gulf Coast MPO’s Public Participation Plan and the FTA Section 5307 POP Notice. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, religion, disability or other protected status. Persons who require assistance under the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) should contact CTA at least 5 business days prior to the end of a scheduled comment period or public event date.
