In observance of Veterans Day, Coast Transit Authority (CTA) will honor all veterans by offering FREE unlimited rides for veterans throughout the day on Friday, November 11, 2022. Veterans who ride CTA buses that day are welcome to submit photos to CTA through Facebook to be shared with the public.

 

To ride free on CTA buses, veterans may board any CTA Fixed Route bus and mention that they have served in any branch of the United States Armed Forces. Veterans are encouraged to try transit who have not tried transit before, and those who know a veteran are welcome to invite a veteran to ride.

 

Kevin Coggin, Executive Director of Coast Transit Authority, is a native Biloxian and lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He said, “We would like to thank and honor the veterans of our community who keep the Mississippi Gulf Coast and country safe each day of the year.”
